What a 58 dBA sticker is measured at
The industry quotes noise at 23 feet, which is seven metres, and it quotes it at a load that flatters. That is not a conspiracy, it is a convention, and it is why your driveway and the box disagree so violently. Two badges reading 2800, 500 watts apart. The record is what makes it the pick.
